This project was a referral from a local Architect and former colleague. The partner/developer asked for my consulting assistance with this “common area” wine storage room. The unit owners of this condominium desired a wine storage solution that would allow each owner the ability to store up to fifty bottles in a properly temperature and humidity controlled wine storage room. The solution was to create individual wine lockers which would allow through ventilation along with security. The accent low-voltage lighting allows for enough ambient light to choose a bottle without the need for overhead recessed lights. The cabinetry was made of African Mahogany with a gloss Duravar finish to match the cabi9netry in the common area lounge. This room used one of our WineSmart controlled split air-handler refrigeration systems allowing the room to maintain 55 degrees and 60-80% relative humidity. Thank you Stuart, for referring me to your client!
